Only a little more than a year has passed since Boomerang Rapido's debut Album, Rises Again, and now comes the follow up EP, Salsa Anarchy. The 6 tracks guides the listener through western themed stories with the band's usual ironic distance at the core.

This was the EP that was never meant to happen. After writing a couple of western themed songs, the ball suddenly started rolling and there was enough material for an entire EP. With a cinematic sound (and a blatant homage to Ennio Morricone on the instrumental track Mariachi's Tale), this is unlike anything the band has ever done before. The only band worth mentioning in Norway who've done anything similar would be Los Plantronics.

The name of the EP comes from a show the band played in Voss, Norway where the bartender at the venue was trying to have a conversation with the organizer about Sons of Anarchy, and he misheard and thought she was saying Salsa Anarchy.
